There is a Scheiber Sport ski depot at every connecting lift in Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. Customers who hire their wintersports equipment from Scheiber Sport can use these storage facilities free of charge. The easy way to a great ski holiday!
Flexible storage solution
Ski boots and skis are becoming lighter all the time, but even the best wintersports gear has one major disadvantage: it is bulky and difficult to transport. Even if your hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the slopes, the trek from the accommodation to the pistes is without a doubt the “lowlight” of the skiing day. Moreover, carrying around heavy and cumbersome skis, boots and poles can often put visitors off the idea of finishing the day with a little après-ski in one of the nearby bars or huts. Scheiber Sport’s free ski depots make all these problems a thing of the past. Skiers and snowboarders staying in one of the surrounding villages such as Sölden, Zwieselstein or Vent will particularly appreciate the option of storing their gear at the resort overnight and picking it up the next morning.
Ski depots at all connecting lifts
There are ski depots in each of the four Scheiber Sport branches in Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. The four shops are located next to the bottom of connecting lifts. Here are details of where you can find the Scheiber Sport ski depots:
- S1 bottom station of Hohe Mut & Roßkarbahn (Obergurgl)
- S4 bottom station of Festkogelbahn (Obergurgl)
- S5 bottom station of Hochgurglbahn 1 (Pill)
- S6 bottom station of Große Karbahn (Hochgurgl)
Each depot opens at 08.00am and closes at 06.30pm (except S6, which closes at 06.00pm). On Saturdays there is late-night shopping in S1 and S4, giving visitors the chance to hire and store equipment well into the evening.
Dry ski boots
Scheiber Sport customers can access all Scheiber Sport ski depots during the opening hours, regardless of which Scheiber Sport branch they have hired their equipment from. Outside the opening hours the storage rooms remain locked to prevent theft. As well as the logistical advantages they offer, the ski depots in Obergurgl and Hochgurgl provide a further bonus: dry ski boots in the morning!
